We offer a number of lab based diagnostic tests including bloodwork, saliva, urine and stool tests through the major labs and specialty (ie DUTCH) testing. Additionally we offer in office non-invasive biofeedback testing as well as in office RBTI testing (urine and saliva). Our in-office services deliver rapid results, distinguishing us from slower and invasive diagnostic methods.
We look to determine and address the root cause rather than the symptoms. We address why the labs are out of range by supporting the body systems that are weaker, in need of support or detoxification to help the body heal itself. We believe that each person is fearfully and wonderfully made by our divine creator who created our bodies in a way most can heal given the proper nutrients and tools for healing. In some instances patient care may be co-managed with specialists. Since each individual has different DNA, protocols are tailored to each patient's individual situation based on their epigenetic expressions and health goals.
Yes, we monitor hormone levels using biofeedback and saliva testing. Saliva tests are commonly used for hormones such as cortisol, estrogen, and testosterone because steroid hormones in blood mostly bind to carrier proteins, making them inaccessible to tissues, while saliva testing reveals the bioavailable hormone levels, which closely correspond to symptoms. Additionally, topical hormones, like progesterone cream, will be detectible in saliva but not in blood serum. Sometimes cortisol may be monitored with a urine test.
